I have to say that being able to write the content for my web pages while sitting on the number 73 is a very satisfying feeling. I'm using a Samsung I640 and the tiny little keypad is very comfortable. Initially I had not been able to work out how to get at the notes I write on the phone through the data cable so I have to send them to myself as emails. I found the solution for my windows mobile 6 for smart phones device on this page, it's called Vieka WordPad and it's free. It's a free notepad application but you can save the files you create as text in any folder you like and simply drag them on to the desk top when your phone is attached to the computer via the USB cable.

The Samsung is much nicer to type on than the Iphone I tried. The physical touch pad on this phone occasionally leads to a bit of the old fat finger syndrome and a few typos but the Iphone touch screen solution was just terrible with typos in every word. The keys were just too small and the touch screen just couldn't work out what I was trying to type.

I love that I can really use my time productively. Its not just the toilet, although that is satisfying it is also while watching potatoes boil and waiting for a bus, all time I can now use to write web content. I just type out 200 to 500 words with my thumbs and then send it to myself via email then copy and paste that straight onto the website. My site is growing much quicker than ever before and when I do get a precious few hors to sit at the computer and work on my SEO, CSS and all that stuff, it doesn't distract me from writing the content because the content is already done.
