Tarazet the role-playing game is a science fiction role-playing game with a nice mix of Cthulu horror and ultra science. Tarazet is designed with a nice 'n' simple role-playing game system to make designing the interesting stuff like charaters and spaceships easier. I eventually want to include stats for many different role play games, so that it can be used by the widest audience possible. I have started with Star Frontiers stats. Star Frontiers is a classic sci fi role-playing game which is now available as a free download. The game-robots are not just an add on as with a lot of science fiction role playing games but are integral including this cool droid with game stats Game-robots are very important to the Tarazet science fiction role-play setting. And designing these mechanical menaces and mentors is as simple as designing player characters, monsters, vehicles or any other part of the game. The Tarazet game setting has everything from a tiny robotic insect or even a nano-bot up to a giant hive mind mechanoid moon capable of sucking in interstellar cruise liners and digesting them in vast internal vats of acid.
An android can be designed to truly represent its creator race and be given the same game statistics, and through programming the same skills. Everything is possible without having to spend a long time filling in character sheets that are a too complicated element in many games.
Any piece of equipment can be fitted to a robot without time consuming game rule restrictions. | | | |
