My background is in Art and Design and so I tend to draw on those skills when I am coming up with lesson ideas. Especially with kindergarten children our lessons often look more like an art class than an English lesson, but despite all the mess I think we manage to learn a lot of English. The children also love it and look forward to the lessons very much. Learning seems to happen much more when the lesson is planned as somewhere fun and interesting to be.

Lesson planning is of course the key to a productive lesson and lesson support materials are great aid in this.
I have a lot of experience with putting together lessons for children who are at the very start of their language learning. This makes lesson design, if not easy, then at least not impossible.
