Right now the default style on Office Live is a thin all white page. On some of the pages in my site I want Fat all dark pages. Music pages especially. So apparently I need a custom footer. This is the page in which I will be experimenting with it. Starting with the code I found here. http://myofficelivecommunity.com/discuss/forums/p/5651/10556.aspx
That seems to have worked the main content is fatter, but I originally wanted to change the colour. So how do I do that? Can I use a custom footer.
Ok forget fat page let's use the code I found Here to change the page colour. Oh It's nice, everything has gone blue. All by searching with google for code to put in the custom footer. I've changed from a custom footer to a custom menu but it seems to make no difference. So far my code looks like this.

I just removed the menu footer and header with the page properties tag and now the only things left on the page that I don't have controll over are the search bar at the top and microsoft logo at the bottom. I'm pretty sure that the terms and conditions of the site won't allow me to remove them though.
Wow! look at the cool add unit above. Previously I was inserting google adds onto my pages with html modules. It turns out that this violates the terms and conditions of google adds and so I'm going to have to go through my pages ripping them all out and replacing them with custom footer adsence units. this has the advantage of getting rid of ugly white borders on pages with a colour background.
And right here although it is invisible is a google analytics urchin data collector set into a custom footer.
