Books for Learning Business English
I have taught useing many business English books for various language schools and I have noticed that they go out of date rather quickly. Many business English books still have a whole chapter on writing memos and other paper based English language forms that have now went the way of the dinosaur.
I have however been most impressed with this one. Market Leader is full of the most up to date information and when I say full I mean that there is a lot of text in this book. Excellent for the motivated English learner who needs business English and already has an intermediate level.
Dilbert is a comic strip about business life and a great and funny way to learn Business English. The language that is used in Dilbert is often the trendyest and most up to date business English there is and it is interesting to see just how this language works in some of the extreme situations Dilbert finds himself in.
The pictures help with understanding the text and it is always the most up to date business English around.
