Animation is one of the most creative but at the same time most difficult and time consuming of all broadcast media. The animation pages on Spiralcat include;

 

 

 

 

 

There is animation which just does the same old thing and does it very well, such as Wallace and Gromit and then there is ground breaking animation like Ren and Stimpy or South Park.

 

Because of the childhood I had growing up in the 70s I am partial to very cheap and cheerful animation from Hanna Barbera like Top Cat and Hong Kong Fuey. 

 

The internet is of course also the home of animations like this one to the left which I made with Photoshop cs3 or this very odd animation about teaching your baby sign language, like they do with chimps and bonobos, so that you can communicate with it.

 

I have plans to add animations to my role-playing game along with the huge number of illustrations which are part of the game already. 

 

Animation is such a fscinating subject that I'll be putting more of my own animations and reviews of animated shows from the internet and TV on this page before long.
